5th Annual Golf Outing in
Honor of Ben Montgomery

Thank you to everyone who attended the 5th Annual Drivers Fore Survivors golf fundraiser! We had an amazing turnout and great weather to match! We would especially like to send special thanks to Rachel Heine and Alyson Doyle from the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation for reminding us what great work the folks at Nationwide Children's do and the difference you are making. I am happy to report we were able to raise about $16,000 for pediatric brain cancer research and keep Ben's vision going strong! We will have photos posted soon, so please come back and check those out, and don't forget to save the date Monday, September 12, 2011 for the 6th Annual Drivers Fore Survivors golf outing at Rattlesnake Ridge, the gem of Sunbury!

Drivers Fore Survivors is a golf outing fundraiser that was organized by Ben Montgomery, who lost his 17 year battle with brain cancer in April 2008 at the age of 27. Ben’s vision was to use his passion for golf to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer research. Ben would be very pleased with the amount of donations his group has given – almost $70,000! Once again, Ben’s family and friends are dedicated to keeping his legacy alive by donating the proceeds of this year’s event to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

2010 Cornhole Tournament at Flannagan's

Thanks to everyone who supported DFS at our second cornhole tournament. We raised about 500 dollars and had a blast! Special thanks to Greg and Bryan, the winners of the event for donating their winnings back to Drivers! And thanks to Flannagan's; the food, drinks and staff were amazing. Next up- the 5th Annual DFS golf outing at Worthington Hills, Aug 23rd. If you haven't signed up yet, click the register tab and reserve your spot. Packers Backer support Drivers Fore Survivors

Thanks to the Buckeye Packer-Backers and On-Tap Pub! They raised over $1600 dollars and had fun doing it! On-Tap pub is located at the corner of Bethel and Godown in north Columbus. Check it out if you are in the area. Great people, great service, cold beer!

The Rusty Ball and Drivers Fore Survivors rock out!

Thanks to everyone who supported Drivers Fore Survivors at the 2nd annual Rusty Ball in Cincinnati. We had a blast and raised nearly $600 for Nationwide Children's Hospital! Special thanks to Jen Greene for all her work and dedication to this event. And of course thanks to the Rusty Griswolds for hosting such an impressive event. We look forward to participating and celebrating in future years, and you should, too!
